Why We Decided to Start This Blog

·248 words·2 mins

We’re starting this blog for a simple reason:
To share what we’re working on, talk about the challenges we run into, and hopefully connect with more people who care about building good digital products.

At Labvent, we spend most of our days solving real problems for clients—from figuring out the best way to launch a new feature to fixing bugs that pop up at the worst possible time. A lot of that work happens behind the scenes, but we think it’s worth talking about. Sometimes we learn something new, sometimes we make mistakes and fix them, and sometimes we just want to share something cool we built.

What Are We Using to Run This Blog?
#

We’re using Hugo.

Hugo is fast, simple, and doesn’t get in the way.
We write in Markdown, keep everything in git, and don’t have to deal with a clunky admin panel or slow page loads. Hugo lets us focus on writing and shipping posts, not fiddling with settings.

Why Start Writing?
#

  • To share what we’re actually doing, not just the polished results.
  • To talk honestly about the problems we hit and how we solve them.
  • To keep things simple—just like our approach to building products.
  • And maybe to help someone else who’s working through similar stuff.

If you’re curious about what happens behind the scenes at a small agency—or just want to see how we approach digital projects—stick around. And if there’s something you want us to write about, just ask.
