Custom software development

Custom software development, built around how your business works

Off-the-shelf software gets you most of the way, until it doesn’t. We build the systems that close the gap: platforms your customers use, tools your team runs on, and the integrations that make everything talk to each other.

What we do

  • Web platforms and internal business systems
  • APIs and third-party integrations
  • Data pipelines, sync jobs and automation
  • Real-time systems and high-throughput back ends
  • Cloud infrastructure, DevOps and deployment

When custom software is worth it

Most businesses should start with off-the-shelf tools. Custom software earns its cost when those tools start bending your process instead of supporting it: data copied by hand between systems, spreadsheets holding critical logic, or a SaaS product that can’t model how you actually operate.

We build the piece that is missing. Sometimes that is a full platform your customers log in to. More often it is an internal system, an integration layer or a set of automated jobs that make the tools you already pay for work together.

How a project runs

Every project follows the same shape, scaled to its size. You talk to the engineers doing the work from the first call to the last deploy.

  1. Discovery

We map the workflow, the systems involved and the constraints, then agree on what the first release must do and what can wait.

  2. Architecture and proposal

You get a written plan: components, data model, integrations, milestones and cost, before any code is written.

  3. Build in short iterations

Working software every week or two, deployed to a staging environment you can click through, so feedback arrives early.

  4. Launch and handover

Production deployment, monitoring, documentation and a walkthrough with your team, so the system isn’t a black box.

  5. Support and next versions

We stay on for fixes, improvements and the features that come up once real users are on it.

Software that talks to the physical world

Because we also build firmware and connected devices, we are comfortable with custom software that has hardware on the other end: dashboards for sensor fleets, back ends for companion apps, and systems that control lighting, vehicles or industrial equipment. If your project crosses that line, one team covers both sides.

Tools we use

  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • Go
  • Rust
  • Python
  • SvelteKit
  • React
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Docker
  • AWS
  • REST and WebSocket APIs

Custom software development: common questions

  • How much does custom software development cost?

It depends on scope, integrations and how much already exists. After a discovery call we send a written proposal with milestones, a timeline and a fixed cost per milestone, so you know the number before work starts.

  • Can you work with our existing systems?

Yes. Much of our work is integration: connecting accounting, CRM, ERP, payment or logistics systems through their APIs, or building a sync layer where no clean API exists.

  • Can you take over software another team built?

Usually. We start with a code and infrastructure review, tell you plainly what we found, and recommend whether to extend, refactor or replace.

  • What happens after launch?

We stay on. Monitoring, fixes and new features continue under a support arrangement that fits how much change you expect.
